EHRA 24 - We interview Dr Vivek Reddy (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, US) on a first-in-human clinical trial of a novel conformable "single-shot" pulsed field ablation (PFA) catheter for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).

This single arm trial aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of PVI using an 8Fr PFA catheter (SpherePVI, Affera Inc) in 30 patients across three centers.

Interview Questions:

  1. What are the unmet needs in PFA in 2024?
  2. Could you tell us more about the single shot catheter used in this trial?
  3. What was the study design and patient population?
  4. What were the key findings?
  5. What are the next steps?

Recorded on-site at EHRA in Berlin, 2024.

Support: This is an independent interview conducted by Radcliffe Cardiology.
